MIS VACACIONES EN ECUADOR: LAS ISLAS GALÀPAGOS
Hi my name is Axel and this was my summer for the year 2023. On July 4th I traveled to Ecuador and after a 8 hour flight I landed in Guayaquil Ecuador. After landing I took a flight to the Galapagos Islands which although is also a part of Ecuador, isn't actually on the mainland. The flight was about only 2 hours and after landing our tour guide brought us to our suite. On the way to the suite we already began to see the beautiful water of the Galapagos island, the water was sky blue clear and the surrounding areas were kind of like a desert. After arriving we immediately started to explore. The first place we explored was Tortuga bay. Tortuga Bay is the cleanest and most beautiful beach I've ever been to. Walking through the sand we spotted Sea lions playing in the water and even some laying on the beach. Sea lions were very common to find in the Galapagos islands, most of the time we would always see some laying down on the benches or on the floors, or swimming around in the water. We also saw a lot of iguanas all over the place as they were very common too, they always would travel in packs and I rarely saw any alone. Another exotic animal I also spotted were the galapagos penguins when we went to Isabela island, they were very interesting and were nice to see. One last exotic animal I saw over at the Galapagos islands was the blue footed boobie. Those birds are absolutely a sight to see, They seemed very elegant and looked like they came straight out of a comic book. Some activities I did in the galapagos included snorkeling, exploring, swimming, and lots of walking. When I went snorkeling it was an absolute surreal experience. Underwater there were beautiful schools of fishes, there were massive turtles, sea lions, and at one point even sharks!!
